Facilities
The Athletic Training staff at MidAmerica Nazarene University works out of two athletic training rooms. These two facilities are equipped with the latest in injury treatment and rehabilitation equipment. Our primary facility is located in the Cook Center. The second facility is in the fieldhouse, adjacent to Pioneer Stadium and Robbie Jones Field.
Olathe Medical Center Athletic Training Room
The OMC Athletic Training Facility is a 1953 square foot facility made possible
through the generous support from Olathe Medical Center, Inc. and Johnson County
Orthopedics. The athletic training room itself is divided into separate areas
for rehabilitation, taping/treatment, hydrotherapy, and office space. A fully
functional lab room connects to the athletic training room. This lab contains
treatment tables and modalities for use in the treatment of athletic injuries,
as well as a wide variety of rehabilitation equipment, including a Kin-Com machine.
In addition to the athletic training room and lab, the center includes a Swim-Ex
Aquatic Therapy Pool that can be used in the treatment of a variety of sports
injuries.
