ACT/CLEP Testing
ACT
High school students expecting to enroll at MidAmerica should
ask their principal or counselor about taking the ACT or SAT examination.
Only the ACT is given on campus. The Kresge Center administers
the ACT examination to in-coming freshman during S.O.A.R. (Summer
Orientation And Registration). The exam may also be taken by students
desiring to upgrade their score for scholarship purposes. ACT
exams are proctored by the Kresge Center located in the Mabee
Library.

CLEP
CLEP examinations are proctored by the Kresge Center located
in the Mabee Library. The University advises first-time freshman
ranking 24 and above in ACT sub-score areas to consider taking
the CLEP exams which are available but require pre-registration.
CLEP examinations may be taken to
earn up to 25 semester hours of general education credit. Additional
