VESi (Virtual Education Software)

MidAmerica Nazarene University and VESi are now offering accredited, computer-based instuction courses for your relicensure, pay scale advancement, and/or professional development needs. The following classes are being offered:

  • Autism and Asperger's Disorder: Information and Effective Intervention Strategies
  • Funtional Analysis: Introduction to Completing Behavior Assessment
  • Inclusion: Working with Special Needs Students in Mainstream Classrooms
  • Understanding Aggression: Coping with Aggressive Behavior in the Classroom
  • Talented and Gifted: Working with High Achievers
  • Child Abuse: Working with Abused and Neglected Children
  • Advanced Classroom Management: Children as Change Agents
  • Educational Assessment: Assessing Student Learning in the Classroom
  • Teaching Diversity: Influences and Issues in the Classroom

Courses are two, or three credit hours. IBM/PC or Macintosh computer with CD-ROM, access to a printer, 5MB of available hard disk space and 256MB of RAM. IBM/PC version requires Windows 2000 or newer. Mac version requires System 10.0 or newer.
