Women's Basketball Dominates First Round

Taylor Ford's career-high 20 points keyed the Lady Pioneers' 76-57 victory over Daemen College in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament. Ford shot 7-11 from the field and hit all 6 of her free throws. She also pulled down 8 rebounds. Jenna Matson led all scorers with 22 points and had a game-high 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Ashley Patterson had 13 points and 7 rebounds, and JoNel Henning chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Lindsay Boss dished out 7 assists.

The next game for the 25-10 Lady Pioneers will be Friday at noon vs. the 1-seed Ozarks (MO).
