MidAmerica Nazarene University is excited to announce the signing of Kevin Liddle, a shortstop/pitcher from Mountain View High School in Loveland, Colorado. As a junior last year, Kevin hit .354 with an on base percentage of .523 and 14 stolen bases. An outstanding baserunner, Kevin is expected to break Mountain View's school record for stolen bases in a career. In addition to his offensive abilities, Kevin is considered by many to be one of the top defensive infielders in the state of Colorado.
"Kevin is a standout defender in the middle infield who has a lot of upside", states Head Coach Ryan Thompson. "We project him as an impact player defensively right away, with the potential to develop into a hitter with table-setter type offensive skills. Although we are excited about his athleticism and all-around skills as a player, the thing we like best about Kevin is his character and work ethic. He's an outstanding student-athlete, and a top-notch kid. He is the right type of guy for our program, and we are excited to have the opportunity to add him to our baseball family."
