In the first poll of the season, the MidAmerica Pioneer football team has been ranked 12th in the country. After a season in which the Pioneers won 9 games and made the playoffs, MNU is looking to improve. The HAAC was well-represented in the national poll, with Missouri Valley ranked 3rd, and Lindenwood 9th.

The season opens September 6 for the Pioneers, and they will be tested immediately. The game is at home vs. #9 Lindenwood.
