Women's Soccer Grabs Road Win
September 22nd, 2008
MNU
The MNU women's soccer team traveled to McPherson College on Saturday and pulled away with a 1-0 win over the Bluedogs. "It was one of those games we just could not finish," says coach Rocky Orton. "We created several great chances." With 30 minutes played in the first half Rebecca McAndrew played a nice slotted ball to Alyssa Howard for MNU's only goal. Orton says, "A win is a win; especially on the road. There are no easy road games. McPherson put up a good fight. They were a very hard working team." Kim Nigh had 5 routine saves on the day.
MNU's next game is @ Lindenwood University on September 27th at 12pm. MNU is 2-2-3 overall this season.
