Intercollegiate Sports

At MidAmerica Nazarene University, where academic excellence, career preparation, and spiritual development are stressed, athletic programs play a special role on campus.

Participation in intercollegiate sports at MidAmerica will provide you with rich opportunities to learn fundamental principles like discipline, teamwork, and determination that are applicable to real life situations.

MidAmerica offers a number of intercollegiate sports for both men and women that will also allow you to grow as an athlete. You can perfect the skills you have developed as a high school athlete by competing on the college level and, most importantly, in a Christian atmosphere. That's what makes MidAmerica unique: competitive intercollegiate athletics in a Christian environment.

Affiliations

MidAmerica is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes on the Division I level in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Scholarships

Athletic scholarships are available for students based on talent and financial need. Scholarships are offered by the coaches of each individual sport and coordinated with the student's total financial aid package.
