The MidAmerica Nazarene University Foundation exists to assist the education services at MidAmerica Nazarene University.
The MNU Foundation's principle activity is to building the University Endowment Fund. This fund is invested following carefully considered conservative investment policy to further the University’s mission, and to assure the long-term financial security of the university.

They made an impact on your life when you needed them most. He may have been a pastor that encouraged you and helped strengthen your faith in a time of crisis. She could have been a Sunday School teacher who week after week poured out her life to share the love of God. They may have been your parents. You always wanted the world to know how special they were, but never really knew how.
Special gifts . . .
You can honor that special person by creating a permanent endowment fund in their name at MidAmerica Nazarene University. This named scholarship will be listed each year in the official catalog of the university and in the chapel awards bulletin each spring. For generations their names will appear in tribute to the contributions they have made for the Kingdom of Christ and the world.
Special students . . .
Even more exciting, your gift goes beyond a tribute to past generations as it is used to prepare future generations for a life of service to God, the church and the world. You may want to honor a pastor by training future pastors, honor a special saint by providing an atmosphere of higher education where Christ is lifted up, or honor your parents by providing a scholarship in a field of study that was special to them. Your special gift will help special people . . . MNU students!
It’s really easy to establish a named endowment fund to honor your loved one. You can begin your endowed scholarship with an initial investment of at least $2,500. From the date of your initial gift, you will have 5 years to grow the endowment to a minimum of $20,000. You may choose to leverage your company’s matching gift program or to solicit friends and relatives to make additional contributions to your endowment fund. Upon reaching a fund balance of $20,000, the MNU Foundation will begin distributing a portion of your endowment earnings, ultimately providing meaningful scholarships to MNU students. Your endowment will be tracked individually for distribution and stewardship purposes, but will be commingled with other permanent endowment funds for investment purposes.
The next step is to indicate the name of the scholarship fund and if there are any restrictions. Please remember that your gift will permanently generate funds for generations to come so narrow restrictions may not be useful in the future. A gift agreement will be drafted for your signature and filed for audit.
